    Description

Outstanding converted MFV, configured as a luxury min-cruise vessel. Converted to the very highest standards using the finest materials and offered for sale at a fraction of her project cost and with circa £25,000 per week charter potential once commercial coding is completed.

    FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:

Originally built as the ‘FLAGRANT CLOUD’ PD233 by Bangor Ship Yard, Northern Ireland and launched in 1980 as the construction of traditional MFV hulls in timber was coming to an end. The boat was based in Peterhead throughout its working life, becoming the Scotia in the 1990’s before being retired from commercial operations. Purchased by her current owner in 2008 the boat has been a labour of love as she is converted to 5 double cabin (plus crew quarters) mini cruise vessel with all works completed by professional tradesmen to the highest standards using the finest materials, and under the supervision of a marine surveyor.

    Her specification highlights include:-
    • 5x double cabins, all with ensuites plus further crew cabin with heads
    • Larch on Oak construction.
    • Pine & Oak tongue & groove interior panelling with custom oak panel doors
    • Total renovation and rebuild over past seasons
    • Kelvin T8 8-cylinder 535hp marine diesel engine
    • BetaGen 33 29kva diesel generator
    • Tecnicomar Ecomar 32S Sewage Treatment Plant plus 1,000 litre holding tank

    • 7,000 litres fuel capacity
    • Simrad navigation equipment from 2022 including Halo 24 radar and twin 22” LCD displays
    • AIS Transponder
    • Professional galley with commercial gas range, combi steam oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher
    • 6x Jabsco electric heads
    • Combi-boiler system plus 29kw diesel-fired wet system boiler
    • Washing machine and dryer
    • TV in saloon

Now renamed HIGHLAND LASSIE, she is berthed on the Caledonian Canal at Dochgarroch. Her refit works are now in the final stages of completion, after which she will be ready for commercial coding ahead of the 2023 season where based upon comparable vessels in the area, she offers the potential to generate circa £25,000 peak season.
