MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS:
The Scanner Envy 950 is a RIB boat designed by Montemitro Design that can also be used as luxury tender for superyachts. When Montemitro Design created Scanner Envy 950 they did not want to create "just" a rib, but the boat which also gives importance to looks and quality of materials. With length of 9,5 meters and open plan concept the boat can carry up to 20 passengers. To aft there is a cozy living room consisting of sunbathing area, C-shaped aft couch with multifuntctional furniture, fridge, sink and working surface. Scanner has a large dinette which can be converted into another sunbathing area, simply lowering the table. The boat has two cabins, one with toilet, with entrance on command bridge and you get another cabin when you lift the sun deck area.
MANUFACTURER’S BACKGROUND:
The company has always striven to find increasingly more functional solutions, a policy that paid off in 1993 with the creation of the “SCANNER” project on a national scale. The arrival of SCANNER 590, thanks to her lines and futuristic technical solutions, truly revolutionised the nautical world. Numerous other models followed, created to satisfy the needs of a market looking for a new product combining the comfort and design of a boat with the practicality and safety of a dinghy.
Scanner Marine was established on the wave of this success in 2001 and thanks to the experience acquired over the years and successful collaboration with some of the most famous boat engine manufacturers, the company soon became an important reference point for the boat industry in terms of design and innovation.
The drafts, drawings and hull fittings are the result of years of research, testing the products in all sorts of conditions and in the most extreme adverse weather conditions, enabling us to select the very best construction materials and technologies so that the final product achieves perfect harmony with the marine environment.
Tests were carried out within the scope of the “SCANNER” project in events such as the Admiral’s Cup and the Whitbread Race, in Greek and Sardinian seas and along the Spanish Coast.
The construction of these boats has evolved into the perfect combination of design, speed, functionality, versatility and navigational safety, whilst fully respecting the physical laws that must be dealt with when nature displays its full force to those who dare to challenge her.
Scanner is recognised for producing high-quality boats, characterised by original design and excellent seaworthiness.
Scanner is represented throughout the world by dealers sharing its company philosophy, who are at our clients’ disposal for technical and commercial assistance.
