    Description

Completely refitted and updated German Frers designed performance cruiser from VR Yacht in Italy. Hybrid glass/carbon/Kevlar construction for ultra-light displacement. Spacious 3-cabin double cabin interior layout. Just two owners, never raced and never chartered.

    FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:

Originally constructed by VR Yacht in Italy in late 1999 (launched 2000) to designs by German Frers, and used privately by her first owner, TAONANA was purchased by her second and current owner in 2006, also for private use (she has never been used for charters or regatta sailing). Following 8 seasons of enjoyavle sailing, her owner completely refitted and upgraded her in 2014/2015 with a view to creating an ultra-light, ultra-fast short-handed cruising yacht. Thanks to her hybrid Construction with glass and Kevlar laminates and carbon reinforcements, she displaces approx. 10,000kgs, and coupled with her powerful, yet easily managed fully-battened rig, TAONANA now offers blistering performance on all points of sail. Below decks, she features a hugely practical 3-cabin, 2-heads interior layout with remodelled saloon, large galley, chart table, dedicated wet locker and fantastic forward owner’s cabin.

    Her specification highlights include:-
