The Baltic 38 DP was an iconic design of the IOR era. Designed by the late Doug Peterson and regarded by many as one his finest designs.
OBELIX is a comprehensively refitted example of this iconic design with a significant program of refit and upgrades stretching from 2015 to the present day with highlights including:-
2018 Refit • Renewal of liferaft • New bimini • New navigation lights • New Code 0 with furler • Overhauled winches • Overhauled vang • New engine starter motor
2017 Refit • New interior and exterior upholstery and cushions • Gennaker sock • Engine removed for full overhaul • New Raymarine autopilot • Cockpit and deck surfaces repainted • New tender and outboard • New engine exhaust • Fitment of Webasto diesel heating
