1988 Slocum 43 – NOW SOLD

Grabau International is delighted to announce its successful sale of the 1988 Slocum 43 ‘SURET VI’.

Sharing the same hull design as the Passport 42 and Formosa 42, the Slocum 43 is constructed with a more technologically-advised Airex foam core in the hull and a modified rudder design. In total, approx. 60 yachts were built to his hull design between 1981 and 1990, of which a vast majority are the aft cockpit layout found with SURET VI.

2015 REFIT DETAILS – NAUTOR SWAN EMV SHIPYARD – BADALONA:
• Complete overhaul and inspection of all systems
• Dismantling steering system and servicing overhauling rudder shaft packing
• Skin-fittings inspection and replaced where required.
• Standing rigging professionally inspected (replaced in 2006)
• Comprehensive service and check of engine and generator
• Revision of all navigation and electrical systems
• Fitment of new AGM batteries
• Change lighting from Halogen to LED
• Fitment of new Simrad autopilot
