PRESS REVIEW:
Designed by Marine Technology Services, the Canados 80’ S is a motor yacht with a deep V hull with an edge and hydrodynamic support pads with strong marine qualities. Hull, decks and superstructures are made of fiberglass; as far as bridges are concerned, the yard has opted for a solution that envisages a high density expanded PVC core, which is entrusted with the task of ensuring the necessary rigidity to the structure and high thermal and acoustic insulation.
To further optimize the soundproofing in the sleeping area, the bulkheads that divide the different rooms consist of a sandwich structure consisting of two marine plywood walls with a double layer of polyurethane rubber and 0.35 mm lead sheet.
The interiors, made with the combination of materials such as natural leather, fabrics and precious wood essences, are welcoming and full of accessories dedicated to comfort and relaxation everywhere. The lounge, located on the main deck, consists of a large C-shaped sofa with a central coffee table, a dining area for eight people with a perimeter delimited by tableware furniture, a three-seater sofa, a Hi-Fi cabinet, a mini bar, ice maker, LCD TV, DVD player, air conditioning and ceiling covered in lacquered wood. From this area, through an open staircase, you can access the flybridge, which can also be reached via a fiberglass staircase covered in teak from the aft cockpit.
The upper deck is entirely covered in teak and here is the outdoor steering station, well protected by the large stainless steel and Perspex windscreen, also, also in this area, there is an outdoor living area equipped with C-shaped sofa with central table, sunbathing area, bar cabinet and electro-hydraulic crane for launching and hauling the tender. The external layout is modern and is characterized by the soft and slender lines of the superstructure and side windows, the generous roll bar, intended for the antennas of the numerous electronic devices that make up the equipment, does not weigh on the aesthetics of the whole but on the contrary, contributes to streamline its line.
The cockpit offers the necessary space to stay comfortably even while sailing, as it is well protected from the aft extension of the flybridge. The whole deck is covered in 12 mm thick teak slats, the gunwale is covered with teak or mahogany lamellar lead, at the choice of the owner, with a stainless-steel rail with opening in the aft area. The large swim platform, located aft, is accessible through the stairs integrated into the structure. From the transom you enter the spacious engine room through a pantograph door. On the sides there are a total of 20 portholes, all made of stainless steel and equipped with armor plate, mosquito net and open porthole alarm with control panel on the main dashboard.
The indoor wheelhouse has a dinette with a sofa for six people and a central table, in addition of course to the steering station with an ergonomic dashboard and complete and modern instrumentation. The deck below the main deck is entirely intended for the cabins, one of which in the bow is intended for VIP guests with a double bed, private bathroom and numerous accessories for comfort, in addition to the high-quality fittings. Aft of this cabin there are two other rooms for guests, one on the starboard side and the other on the left, both with two single beds and a private bathroom. In the master area there is the master cabin, characterized by the large walkable surface and equipped with a double bed, private bathroom and numerous accessories for moments of relaxation. For the crew, the shipyard has provided two cabins, one aft and the other in the bow, both equipped with a single bed and a private bathroom to ensure the right privacy for the owner and his guests.
The engines are 2 x 1.550 HP Man, with which according to the indications of the shipyard the Canados 80 ‘S can sail at the maximum speed of 30 knots and at the cruising speed of 25 with the autonomy up to 450 nautical miles. The Canados 80 ‘S is a motor yacht that has achieved good success since its presentation, thanks to the modern design and the care that the shipyard has reserved for every design and manufacturing process.
