2005 Baltic Yachts 56 – NOW SOLD

Grabau International is delighted to announce their successful sale of the 2005 Baltic Yachts 56 ‘MORGANA CUBE’.

Hull number 2 of the Julel Vrolijk Baltic 56 semi-custom performance blue water cruisers. Single cockpit cruising layout with extremely versatile 4-5 cabin internal layout.

BUILDER’S COMMENTS:

No. 2 of the Baltic 56’s had a layout and concept that was closer to the basic 56 design. Nevertheless the Baltic 56-02 was still very unique in its own way. The basic concepts as well as the deck and interior layouts were tailor made to suite this particular owner and his family. The owner intends to use the yacht mainly for family sailing with a few fun races in between.

In order to compensate the weight increase for some of the cruising equipment, a high-technology weight saving construction was used in the hull and deck laminates, as well as in the construction of the interior. Both the hull and the deck laminates were constructed using a Carbon Epoxy with the Epoxy being vacuum injected. In order to achieve a very high fibre ratio the Epoxy was injected with a fairly slow speed and under very high vacuum.
