2010 Vismara Marine V54 – NOW SOLD

Posted

Grabau International is delighted to announce its successful sale of the 2010 Vismara V54 ‘B5’.

Commissioned with a view for family sailing with capabilities to go racing, ‘B5’ boasts many of the typical Vismara features – lightweight construction thanks to a carbon hull which keeps displacement under a remarkable 10 tons and of which 50% is the keel, and easy sailing thanks to integrated systems on board combined with intelligent deck design resulting in a clean deck space with all controls accessible from the helm at the push of a button.

‘B5’ flies a furling Code Zero or gennaker off the wind. The combination of her self-tacking or standard genoa with large single-line reefing mainsail ensures that the yacht can be sailed by a crew of just two when cruising.

The hull lines are typical of Vismara with a slender entry, maximum beam amidships and flat stern emphasised by an almost vertical angle between the bottom and sides. The deck area is an exercise in modern design with straight lines used throughout. Even the guardrail stanchions are polygonal sectioned rather than rounded. The decks are refreshingly free of clutter which also makes her extremely safe at sea.

‘B5’ was extensively refitted in 2017/18/19 by Vismara Marine with the completed works list as follows:-
• Lead winglets added to the bulb (designed and manufactured by Vismara. Installed in Malta with supervision of Vismara appointed surveyor)
