Hylas 48 debut at Newport Boat Show

Mid-September saw the world debut of the brand new Hylas 48 at the Newport International Boat Show.

On display alongside her big sister, the Hylas 70, and the Hylas M44 Euro the new Hylas 48 was, without doubt, one of the stars of the show, being the first of the new Bill Dixon designed Hylas models to hit the water (the other being the new Hylas 57 which will launch in 2019 along with the German Frers designed Hylas 60). The 48 is now on her way down to Annapolis where she will be displayed at the United States Sailboat Show in early October. Enroute, she will be the main attraction at the annual Hylas Yachts Rendezvous Regatta in Narragansett Bay.
