Hylas M44 Euro – First Solent Seatrials

In blustery and choppy conditions, the newly launched Hylas M44 Euro took to the waters for the first time. Derived from the New-Zealand designed Salthouse Corsair which has found favour as an all-weathers pilot boat design in NZ, the M44 Euro is completely at home in challenging sea conditions. Dean Salthouse, designed of the M44 commented “This is nothing. We tested an earlier model in 70 knots in the Cook Straits!”.

The Hylas M44 Euro will see her World Premiere at the 2017 Southampton Boat Show which starts later this week.
