Hylas Yachts Factory Update

There has been a flurry of activity around Queen Long Marine, the exclusive yard of Hylas Yachts over the past few months with the shipyard now operating at near capacity with eight yachts in various stages of completion and a full order book for 2020 production.

Currently, there are five sailing yachts and three powerboats under construction.  The very first Hylas H57 is nearing completion with just a week or so to go until the varnishing is complete. The second Hylas H57 is just one month away from the carpentry completion while the third Hylas H57 is nearly ready to have the deck, hull, bulkheads, and substructures released from the moulds. The first and second H57’s will arrive to the East Coast USA this Spring and Summer just in time for the Autumn boat shows. The third 57 will be bound for the West Coast of the US.

The Queen Long Marine craftsman and carpenters are working simultaneously on the new Hylas M49 and another M44, both boats are bound for New Zealand this Spring.  Hylas H48-02 and H46-76 will arrive in the second half of 2020, and the second M44 to hit the waters of the Chesapeake will arrive in the early months of 2021.
