Hylas Yachts – May Factory Update

The month of May has been an extremely busy month at the Hylas Yachts shipyard as the team at Queen Long Marine race to complete the new Bill Dixon designed Hylas 57 and German Frers designed Hylas 60 head of the US Autumn sailing and boat show season.

Hylas 57 Hull No.1 is now well into the final stages of her construction with her impressive deck-saloon windows now in place.

Hylas 57 Hull No.2 has now been moved from the laminated hall to the construction hall and work is well underway with her hull and deck fitout.

Hylas 60 Hull No.1 is also well into the final stage of her construction with detailed electrical and plumbing works now completed.

Moving away from the brand new designs, Hylas 49 Hull No. 68 is now in the final stages of fit-out. This stunning and very special yacht with iconic Sparkman & Stephens design can trace her heritage back to the very beginning of the Hylas story. Her extremely proud new owner has owned a series of Hylas Yachts and the opportunity to acquire this legend of the sea was too good to pass up.
