Italia Yachts – Winter Regattas

Italia Yachts USA was on the water this Sunday in Annapolis with the Italia Yachts 9.98 Sport. Two first-place finishes at the Annapolis Yacht Club Frostbite Series in PHRF 1, the team from Italia Yachts USA continue to demonstrate the capabilities of the 9.98 and the Italia Yachts brand in the US.

The brothers Roberta and Franco Manfredonia with their newly-launched Italia Yachts 11.98 ‘TRIDENTE’ left their mark in the winter series of the Gargano Chiumento with a nice second place overall from seven races, all of which were completed with top 5 finishes.

And bravo to ‘SARCIAPONE’, the Italia Yachts 9.98 owned and skippered by Gianluigi Dubbini for winning the West Liguria winter championship in Sanremo in ORC Class B with three firsts and a second, taking Gianluigi to a two point advantage over the second-place boat.

GUARDAMAGO II, the Italia Yachts 11.98 skippered by Massimo Romeo Piparo stood out on the regatta field of the Riva di Trajan winter championship. At the moment, she lies in second-place in ORC 3, with plenty more races to come.

The all-conquering Italia Yachts 11.98 SCUGNIZZA owned and skippered by Vincenzo De Blasio, continues her row of back-to-back victories, dominating overall the field of 49 entrants at the Campinverno regatta of Naples, with three first places of the day. In fifth position overall was the Italia Yachts 9.98 UNPOPERGIORCO owned and skippered by Fabio Iadecola.
