Manketti is a Hylas49 #47 Built in 2005 by Queen Long Marine in Taiwan, where they have been successfully building yachts for over three decades. Recognized as the quality leader in the region, all of their boats have reflected a keen commitment to providing exceptional yachts. We bought her in February 2014 in Belfast and sailed her down to the South coast of England early April.

Her sweet sheer and elongated more traditional lines are the unmistakable hallmark of legendary yacht designers, Sparkman and Stephens. Known for her crisp performance and elegant hand-finished teak interior, she is an absolute joy to handle, even short handed. The integrity assured by her solid laminate hull and watertight bulkheads further speak to her mission as a reliable offshore performer or elegant coastal cruiser. A feature-filled interior incorporates three double cabins, extraordinary in a 49-footer. The fully -equipped galley spans one of the two passageways to the aft stateroom.

On deck, her deep and secure centre cockpit provides perfect visibility from the helm and seats long enough to accommodate a relaxing nap.
