From the iconic Benetti shipyard in Viareggio, ALMA was designed by Fratelli Benetti as design no. FB143. Originally launched in 1984, ALMA has been continually upgraded and always professionally maintained. Extensively refitted,modernised and commercially classified to RINA and MCA in 2006-2008 by Amico & Co. Genoa and then refitted again in 2019, she is offered for sale in sparkling condition.

Benefitting from a steel hull and lightweight aluminium superstructure, ALMA’s accommodation is spread across three internal decks plus a further sky deck. Offering sumptuous guest accommodation for 8 within 4 cabins, plus a further 3 crew cabins, her interior is light, spacious, sophisticated and elegant in design and finish.

With easy transatlantic capabilities thanks to her fuel efficient Caterpillar 3408 DITA 365hp and her substantial 59,000 litre fuel capacity, ALMA can cover up to 5,900Nm or 2,303Nm at her 10Nm upper cruising speed.

The origin of the Benetti shipyard dates back to the foundation of two of the most ancient Italian shipyards: the one of Fratelli Benetti founded in Viareggio in 1873 and the Fratelli Orlando shipyard founded in Livorno in 1866. One of the oldest in Italy, the Morosini Slipway saw the launch of the huge battleships that made the Italian Royal Marines great at the end of the 19th century.

In 1961 Benetti switches from wood to steel and invents the Luxury Motor Yacht: the success goes beyond the wildest imagination of its founders.

After 111 years of the family-owned business, in 1985, the Azimut group, owned by Paolo Vitelli, acquired the Benetti Shipyard and owns it to this day.
