ULTRAMARI is hull nr. 19 of 21 Baltic 40’s launched between 1988 and 1999. Purchased by the current owners in 2016, ULTRAMARI has been used lightly during summer months, and stored under cover, rig-out in a heated storage shed during the winter months. Her specifications highlights include:
• Yanmar 39hp engine from 2019 with Saildrive gearbox and 3-bladed Max-Prop with just 70hrs run
• Owner’s aft stateroom layout with centreline double berth
• Royal blue hull

The Baltic 40, cooperation with Naval Architect Judel/Vrolijk, was a smaller size follow up of the successful Baltic 43. The basic difference between these yachts lay in the fact that the racing rules were not as strict as earlier at this time. We started to see hulls with wider sterns and a few other shape differences giving the designs slightly different characteristics.
