The 42 foot sail yacht FIFTH ELEMENT is designed and built in Finland by skilled yacht industry craftsmen. Her sturdy construction, traditional design and protected cockpit mean easy operation and comfort combined with safety.

S/y FIFTH ELEMENT is well equipped, maintained, updated and upgraded for blue water sailing and long passages. As a sturdy steel vessel she can take you anywhere you want including icy waters. Her furling main, yankee and staysails can be operated from the cockpit.

Since commissioning in year 2000 she sailed many years on the Baltic sea. Then was time to head towards Kiel canal, Amsterdam, Dover, Southampton, France, Spain, Portugal, Madeira, Canary Islands, Cape Verde, across the Atlantic Ocean to Brazil Fernando Noronha, Salvador, down south to Uruguay and Argentina and from Buenos Aires to Cape Town South Africa and then up to Portimao Portugal via St Helena, Ascension, Cape Verde and Las Palmas.

Then she enjoyed coastal sailing along southern Portugal and Spain for couple of years but call of the open sea was irresistible. So it was time to sail southbound to Madeira, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, El Hierro, Cape Verde, across the Atlantic Ocean to Caribbean e.g. Martinique, Saint Vincent & Grenadines and Saint Lucia and then again across the Atlantic back to Azores, down to Madeira and then Porto Santo and back to Portimao, Portugal.

She’s now at Portimao, Portugal for having a service and maintenance. After that she is ready for the next owner.

We are family of four and this boat has been our FIFTH ELEMENT. We are live aboard family so we need more room and that is the only reason for selling her.
