New Listing – 2000 Nautor Swan 44 mkII

Grabau International in association with Northrop & Johnson Palma are delighted to announce the new listing of the 2000 Nautor Swan 44 mkII ‘CYGNET’.

CYGNET has a black hull, non-skid decks, and is well equipped.

Purchased by present owner spring 2007 in Newport. The yacht was then shipped to Mallorca where she has been based ever since. CYGNET has light summer use and continual very good maintenance. On arrival in Spain the yacht was imported and IVA / VAT was paid.

This is a very comfortable boat for a couple to cruise with guests, as there are two double cabins/2 heads. It is a single cockpit, with a wide companionway, very open layout for the main salon area with teak dinette and settees on both sides. Mostly her owners sail as husband and wife alone – the yacht is easily managed.

Recent upgrades:
• Mast was out 2012 and she had the spar and rigging inspected – a number of rigging connections were renewed – everything else was in good shape.
• In 2013 the engine had a new exhaust elbow.
• New canvas bimini and sprayhood in 2013.
• In September 2014, the rudder was dropped, checked and serviced with new rudder bearings.
• Each year she has been ashore for inspection, antifouling and general service of whatever needed.
• Sails and canvas were removed and stored each year from October to April/May.
• March 2017 she has had her “spring clean” (lifted and washed; engine service and winches serviced) and is ready for the summer and a new owner.
