ASIA 2 is a custom-designed and built composite performance sloop designed by German Frers (design no.1138) originally constructed for a highly experienced owner by Logos Composites in Italy. The project brief was to use the very best in technological innovation along with attention to speed and style unseen in most other yachts of her type, and the need to be 100% reliable for extended summer cruising in the Med. Epoxy-carbon sandwich construction was used for her hull and structures, including her interiors, in the quest for strength and light weight.

ASIA 2 is well-suited to both family cruising as well as racing duties. Her performance in light and medium airs is outstanding, yet she is still safe and controllable in heavier airs. In terms of practicality, ASIA 2 offers a spacious award-winning interior layout with forward owner cabin complete with heads and shower, and further guest twin cabins (with the portside one that can be converted in a sail/ropes locker) aft with en-suite between them.

A boat able to sail fast also in the lightest of the breezes, when others have to motor.
