Grabau International is delighted to announce the new listing of the 2009 Anytec 1350 Custom ‘HARDHAUS’.
Ultra-rugged ‘all weathers’ aluminium planing motor yacht with twin Rolls-Royce waterjets and a fully-equipped luxury 2-cabin interior. Huge specification and substantial recent maintenance programme.
FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:
Derived from the Anytec 1230 CAB aluminium ‘all-weathers’ planing yacht and launched in mid-2009, HARDHAUS benefits from an extended aft section which gives her a fantastic aft cockpit space, vastly improved access to her aft machinery space and optimised positioning of her engines and Rolls-Royce waterjets for easy maintenance and increased efficiency/performance with a potential for 37 knots in prime conditions. The 1350 Custom also incorporates an extremely practical flybridge arrangement in addition to her lower helm position.
HARDHAUS has many specification highlights including:- • Full aluminium construction • Non-slip decks for safety and ultra-low maintenance • Large aft cockpit plus flybridge helm position • Twin 440hp 6-cylinder Yanmar diesels with low hours, powering Rolls-Royce watejets • 28-40 knots performance potential • Bowthruster • Empirbus DC switching system • Kohler 7kw generator with very low hours • 24vDC domestic electrics • Mastervolt chargers, inverter, alternators, batteries and isolation transformers • Raymarine instruments including 3x chart plotters, open array HD digital radar and AIS • Luxury mahogany joinery interior with two double cabins plus large heads • Fully-equipped galley with ceramic hob, oven, sink and two stainless steel fridge/freezers • Electric fresh water heads • Black and grey water holding tanks • Eberspacher diesel fired hot air cabin heating • Demisters for lower helm windscreen • 3x Recaro fully-adjustable pilot seats at lower helm • LCD TV system • Stern anchor arrangement with electric windlass
VESSEL HISTORY:
Having constructed a 50ft wooden shrimp trawler for pleasure fishing in the local Norwegian fishing grounds, HARDHAUS’s owner decided to move to his next project which was the construction of a true marine ‘SUV’ and would be used to carry out marine research on the fish and shrimp stocks in the Oslo fjord.
Having researched the Anytec range of aluminium boats and their legendary reputation for seakeeping and construction quality, the owner commissioned the design and build of an extended version of the range-topping Anytec 1230. The appeal of the fitment of water jets was a major deciding factor as they allowed the vessel much greater maneuverability compared to a fixed shaft propulsion system. The purpose of the extension from 12.30m to 13.50m was primarily to allow the storage and launching of a ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle), but further advantages were to be gained in terms of performance, efficiency and machinery maintenance.
During the design and build period, the owner chartered the Anytec 1230 from the builder to build a full understanding of the design and engineering in the vessel (this vessel was subsequently sold to Gasprom and was moved to St.Petersburg to be used as an all-weathers armed guard vessel). A ROV was purchased and loaned to the Norwegian Oceanography Institute while the 1350 was in build. Upon completion of the build, the plan was modified slightly and the ROV was sold to Institute. Further modifications were then made through the 2017/18 seasons to the 1350 including the removal of the huge 25kwh 3-phase generator (need to run the ROV) and install a new 7kwh unit. Alongside some other equipment revisions, an estimated 900kgs was removed from the boat, further enhancing her performance and fuel efficiency.
Sadly, the captain of the owner’s wooden shrimp trawler passed away in 2018, and the vessel was sold to Danish buyer for use as a private fishing vessel. As a consequent, the owner’s plan for researching fish stocks was abandoned, and the HARDHAUS, recently constructed and freshly refitted no longer had a use to her owner, hence the decision to now place her on the market.
MANUFACTURER’S BACKGROUND:
“For three decades we have built boats that must meet the diversity offered by our coastal waters and exceed your expectations. To achieve that goal, we set high standards for our naval architects, our production crews and our designers. We build our boats by hand, without welding robots or other automated means. We use construction methods that are usually reserved for crafts of much greater size. Everything we do is aimed at giving you a completeness of boat and a driving experience that is completely unique.”
