NOW SOLD – 1984 19m Steel Staysail Schooner

Grabau International is delighted to confirm its successful sale of the 1984 19m Steel Staysail Schooner ‘MUSTAMAIJA’.

Conceived by a group Finnish yachtsmen and businessmen with a plan to build and then operate the vessel in syndicated ownership, MUSTAMAIJA was designed by H. Lunstroo, jr. scheepsarchitekt N.B.J.A in Holland and her steel hull then fabricated by the Lappeenrannan Shipyard in Finland. Her construction started in 1981 and she was finally fully commissioned for usage in time for the 1984 sailing season. Boasting timeless and elegant hull lines coupled with a well-proportioned and easily managed staysail schooner rig, MUSTAMAIJA is sure to be one of the prettiest boats in any marina.
