The K-24 motorboat was born of dreams, experience and passion. The sleek 24-foot DC-boat is with each detail professionally fashioned and no sacrifices made in quality. The K-24 is hand laminated in Finland its high quality is guaranteed by skilled boatbuilders. The K- 24 is a fiberglass boat with ample teak and clear oak in the cabin.

This boat was used as the manufacturers show boat and has been extremely lightly used since 2013, only 20 engine hours. The boat is not registered. And has been stored inside over the winters since new.

This is a great boat for weekend and day cruising. You may enjoy the sun with the covers open, but incase of bad weather you can still maintain dry and continue your journey. This K24 is also fitted with a small toilet which makes it a comfortable boat for some longer drives.

MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS:

The K-24 boat is designed for comfortable boating, with accommodations that include plentiful storage and a spacious cabin.
The cabin consists of two berths and stowage. On the port side is one berth and a bedside table. On the starboard side, there is a berth and a space that might be used for a toilet. There is also stowing space under the berths.
DESIGNER’S COMMENTS:

Spaciousness and openness creates a beautiful and a user-friendly integrity.

It is easy to move around on the spacious and sleek walk-around deck. The aft-deck is wide and the stairs well-calibrated. This is a boat for boating people who appreciate good performance on the water and responsive handling.

On the roomy bridge, all the navigation instruments and charts are accessible by touch screen.
The cabin is designed for maximum visibility. A retractable cover is neatly hidden above the front windshield, and, in case of rain, it is easily opened on its track.

The K-24 boat features abundant room for storage, with one hatch on the front deck, five midship and aft, and ample stowing space under the seats. As optional a cold locker and a stove can be placed underneath one seat. There is a place for a boathook, paddle or oars beneath the deck stairs.

PRESS REVIEW:

“When all the boats started to resemble Toyota Corolla, I felt it was time to do it something to the point …

Carl Krause was growing frustrated searching in the bays for a boat that could bring him from the mainland to the summer cottage on a small island in the archipelago of Åboland. Wherever he turned in the archipelago, he found that modern boats were too smooth and anxious in shape. He wanted one open boat with clean lines, which stood out from the boring mass. At the same time it should have good lake characteristics and good wind protection – something that all newer day cruiser models lacked.

This was early 2000’s and Carl swallowed his frustration. Instead, he went around Europe’s boat fairs looking for perfect boat. But neither obscure German family yards nor Italian niche manufacturers among the mountain lakes could offer what he was looking for after. Finally, in 2010, he had enough. To get it right he had to create the boat himself…

…The cream-yellow K-24, which he created, stands out among the other white plastic boats at Pampas Marina in northern Stockholm. With its angular, tall window and the teak-covered front deck it looks to come from another decade. Retro, definitely. Handsome? Selfishly so.

The classic forms have an explanation, at least below the waterline. The hull is derived from the 1971 Coronet Midi, but modified to include a slightly straighter stern and the v-section extended to soften the ride…

…We back out of the marina and drive into it leafy Mälaren. It is a hot late summer day and many boats are on their way to and out of Stockholm. The curious eyes show that Carl Krause seems to have succeeded beyond expectation. K-24 stands out from the crowd.

He has also succeeded in another important one point. We drive in the headwind, but the late summer breeze barely touches a strand of hair in the middle head…

… Anyone who thinks this is a dream boat built out of a garage can stop worrying. The quality is first class…
Behind are Finnish boatbuilders in from Nautor. This is visiblein the quality of details. The test boat is luxuriously appointed with teak decks and lots of polished stainless steel…

… In the engine compartment is Mercruiser’s 5.7 litre V8 with 260 horsepower – an almost equal as classic power source as the hull…

Conclusion

New Finnish combination of walkaround and day cruiser. Well proven hull shape, great build quality and a very smart cockpit configuration.
