Summer in Scandinavia is a fleeting treasure: long days, crisp winds, and that ethereal light that sets the archipelagos ablaze. This August, for the very first time, Shogun Yachts will join Sweden’s Tjörn Runt regatta with Shogun 43 NIKE.
Yet even before Nike graces the starting line of one of Scandinavia’s most prestigious sailing events, she has already written her first chapter—a 270-nautical-mile delivery sprint from Kiel, Germany, to Almösund, Sweden, a journey that quickly transformed into an unforgettable, joy-filled voyage for the three of us on board.

“We cast off in Kiel on a Saturday morning and were tied up in Almösund by Sunday lunchtime,” recalls Fei Du, Business Director at Shogun Yachts. That’s 270 nautical miles in just over 24 hours. With only three of us on board
The weather, as it often does in these latitudes, refused to cooperate. Rain swept in. The cold crept deep—that damp Nordic chill that seeps through every layer. But the wind? We had a perfect beam reach in 15 to 25 knots, clean and unwavering, pushing us along the Danish coast. And when you have that kind of breeze beneath a carbon-composite hull, you don’t complain. You sail. Moments like that, we were laughing through the rain, watching the Danish coast emerge through the mist. And that’s exactly what this boat was built for.

“Tjörn Runt perfectly captures the Shogun lifestyle,” says Marcus Jungell, Chief Commercial Officer at Shogun Yachts. “You can cruise in luxury to the event, race alongside an incredible team, feel the thrill of a high-performance yacht, and then continue your summer vacation in perfect comfort. That’s the Shogun way.”

Join us at Tjörn Runt this August. Not just to watch—but to step aboard, feel the carbon, and see where the wind might take you next.
Because at Shogun Yachts, the adventure never ends—it only moves with the wind.
